I finally bit the bullet and made a writing journal. I know it seems silly to act as if it's such a major decision, but I never felt I was doing enough writing on a regular basis to warrant one until now.

So here it is: suiren! I've uploaded everything I've written so far (except for my very first fic because I'm in horror of teh suckage), and will be posting all my fics there from now on, although I'll still link to the fic posts on this lj when I do.

Speaking of which, I want to share the PM I got from Burizu at ff.net for my latest chapter of Crossing The Universe. Normally, I wouldn't share this sort of thing-it feels like showing off-but it just made my day and I want to remember it:

One more day till the family heads off to Florida for Thanksgiving, although we're spending the first three days at the Magic Kingdom. I hope we have lots of fun together, and I'll do a pic post too when we get back.

Hisashiburine, everyone. Oooh, look at my fangirl-Japanese everyone! *headdesks* I have been busy lately with rl, and could have made a few worthless short posts, but decided to wait and make a longer one that was actually not mind-numbingly boring to read.

Anyway, as all students out there know, May is latin for "Study your ass off for finals", and sadly I am no exception. My fic output has slowed down to a trickle, but luckily June follows May, so I'll be able to pick up where I left off. If I do write anything, it'll be for fsn_fiction's May Challenge, which I'm pretty sure is going to go zero entries this time thanks to finals.

Good news is a guy I work with at Famima who reads/speaks Japanese fairly well (his own estimate is about as well as a 13 year old native) has volunteered to translate my doujinshi for me-he says it'll be good practice for him (since he wants to become a translator). The wonderful, generous, Buddha-like man doesn't know he's going to be facing a deluge of Archer x Rin stuff...especially since I just ordered this (should be here in four more days, along with an Usa-chan cell phone strap, and I'm planning on buying those two Archer x Rin doujinshi on eBay as well. Just goes to show you that the benefits of working in a store owned by a Japanese company aren't to be underestimated. *glees out* We need to work out a day we're both free to meet, but once we do...*rubs hands together* And of course, I'll share the wealth using the magic of his translations and photoshop.
